Bridging the gap between veterinary medicine and pet behaviour
Zorra, one of my former puppy students, watches me give a webinar on phantom pregnancy in dogs
Hello...
I am Sara Davies, a vet behaviourist with some 30 years+ of professional dog and cat experience. I live in South Devon, but work online covering the whole of the UK, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man. Through my services and courses, my mission is to advocate for the welfare of pet dogs and cats by:
"Bridging the gap between veterinary medicine and behaviour to facilitate ethical and effective case management, and problem prevention, in dogs and cats"

Courses...

If you are keen to know more about pseudopregnancy in dogs, you are in the right place! I have, some say, a ‘weird’ fascination with them, and their effect on behaviour. And not only in entire female dogs, but in neutered dogs too (yes, it can happen, it’s ‘a thing’, it’s called persistent pseudopregnancy). I will be adding more courses in due time, but I am starting with this, my soapbox topic

You may not live in Devon, but that does not matter as I work online covering the whole of the UK, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man. So, if you need any help or assistance bridging the gap between veterinary medicine and pet behaviour, let’s start a conversation.

A message from one of my clients...
"I found Sara so easy to talk to and she listened intently while I explained all of Belle's behavioural changes. We had repeated calls, Zooms, emails and WhatsApps, which made the process so personal and helpful. With Belle back to being a happy and relaxed character, we have recently gained accreditation through Medical Detection Dogs for Belle to be my medical alert assistance dog. We couldn’t have attained this without Sara’s help! Belle and I are forever grateful, and we highly recommend Sara Davies"
