Meet Dylan & Teddy, two Golden Retrievers - friends or foe?
Very soon I will be contacting local veterinary practices regarding in-house lunch and learn, evening, or weekend CPD events on dog and cat behaviour topics of relevance to their daily work and practice policies. I will have some pre-written presentations for you to choose from, but I can also put together bespoke presentations on particular topics of interest to all or part of your practice team. I am willing to travel further afield than normal for these presentations, as long as I can get there and back within a working day! Fees are yet to be decided, but will be excellent value for money.
I already annually visit a local higher and further education college to do a lecture and practical session on dog behaviour and training. These sessions are put together to meet specific criteria within the syllabus and provide substrate for students’ examinations and assignments. I am happy to do this for other colleges and educational institutions. Most colleges already have a set hourly rate for visiting lecturers so fees are moot here.
Other Pet Professionals
Other pet professionals such as shelter or kennel staff, groomers, dog walkers and home boarders might like to see how modern knowledge and techniques about dog and cat behaviour could enhance their daily interactions with their animal clientele. If so, I can put together presentations for you on topics of interest. Fees are yet to be decided, but won’t cost an arm and a leg!
I have started doing presentations to one local community group in Dartmouth through their monthly ‘Dog Days’ and am keen to do more in this line, whether it’s something similar elsewhere or one off talks at WIs, Rotary Clubs etc. Fees are in the region of £25 to £50 for such events.
To enquire about any of the above please give me a call, or email me; I am house trained and I don’t bite!
