I am a vet behaviourist registered with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC) and a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC). I worked as a small animal vet for nine years and have been in behaviour and training ever since (21 years!).
Currently, I am only taking pet behaviour cases where there is a suspected medical cause, or where a medical issue is a significant factor. This includes phantom pregnancies and persistent phantom pregnancies, in which I have a special interest. I can only see cases where the client and their pet live within the UK, Isle of Man, or the Channel Islands, and only on referral from the client's usual veterinary surgeon. All cases are conducted using Zoom, electronic messaging and the phone, and I can work alone or in tandem with another behaviourist. The latter might arise when a non-veterinary behaviourist has already started a case, then becomes aware of a potential medical factor and needs a vet behaviourist to assist with that particular aspect of the case and to liaise with the referring veterinary surgeon. I have no availability for puppy classes, one-to-one training, or behaviour clients (other than those mentioned above) for the foreseeable future while I work on other projects.
